GP/Urgent Care Doctor

We have an exciting vacancy for a GP/Urgent Care position.

Our clinic is a large, combined GP and Urgent Care practice located in Botany area , East Auckland , Manukau

We are Cornerstone Accredited and our opening hours 8 - 5 Monday - Friday , Saturday 9 - 4

You will be working with great team of experienced nurses, doctors, and medical receptionists during your shifts. We are a friendly, multicultural team with a passion for teaching and increasing the skills of all our team members.

We are supportive of our Doctors wanting to go through GP Fellow training and have dedicated teaching for this with our Clinical Director. We also offer supervision for junior doctors or overseas doctors who are looking to transition to Primary Care.

Our current job opportunity is either on our Urgent Care or GP side, or can be a combination of both depending on your career goals.

To be successful you must:

• Have NZ residency, a work visa or be eligible to work in New Zealand 
• Registration as a medical practitioner in NZ
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and relevant in house training modules as part of our accreditation.
• Qualifications & experience in a range of General Practice or Urgent Care services is helpful.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Confidence in a wide variety of cultures and personalities.
• A commitment to helping us achieve equitable health outcomes for our Maori and other disadvantaged or vulnerable cultural groups.
